Blue Heron Retreat is a new home community coming soon to the North Myrtle Beach/Little River area. The Blue Heron Retreat is being developed on an approximate 65-acre parcel of land that runs along the Intracoastal Waterway close to the Robert Edge Parkway. The overall location of Blue Heron Retreat is extremely convenient for travel around the Myrtle Beach area as the Highway 31 Interchange is only a couple of minutes away.

Ashton Woods is an award-winning luxury home builder. Perhaps relatively new to the Myrtle Beach area, but Ashton Woods began building homes in 1989 and now Ashton Woods is building design-forward homes in thoughtfully selected communities across the country. Ashton Woods is headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, but sells new homes in not only the Myrtle Beach area, but also in Atlanta, Austin, Charleston, Dallas, Houston, Orlando, Phoenix, Raleigh and San Antonio.

In 2017, Ashton Woods launched Starlight Homes for those who always felt the dream of home ownership was just out of reach. Now, over 50,000 families have had the privilege of calling an Ashton Woods or Starlight home their own.

Current plans from Ashton Woods in Blue Heron Retreat are showing approximately 74 single family homes - named the Blue Heron Retreat: Oasis Series. Within the Blue Heron Retreat: Oasis Series of single family homes, preliminary plans from Ashton Woods are showing 43 these single family homes to be situated along the Intracoastal Waterway. Preliminary plans from Ashton Woods are also showing an additional 210 villas (Blue Heron Retreat: Villas) – some with pond views. Future community amenities in Blue Heron Retreat by Ashton Woods will be a swimming pool, pickleball courts and a day dock on the Intracoastal Waterway.
